Interesting type with the Mosque of Mohamed Ali at the Citadel of Salah El Din. There were two main dies of Obv.:

Die 1 - fine script; narrow hook down of ج in جمهورية; in ش of قروش small dots, lower dots connect with fine line, upper dot far from them.

Die 2 - bold script; wide hook down of ج in جمهورية; in ش of قروش big dots, lower dots connect with thick line, upper dot closer to them.



And two main dies of Rev.:

Die A - left dome steep and far from minaret, under the left minaret two rows of windows: 9 at the top and 10 at the bottom.

Die B - left dome low-pitched and close to minaret, under the left minaret two rows of windows: 10 at the top and 11 at the bottom.



This coin in beautiful condition is attributed as 1+A. For the high interest of collectors to these types and to make the attribution of them easy the complete classification of types was published in Numista catalog en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces1820.html with the images of this very coin.
